THE DEAK KUM PA ORPHANAGES – LUANG PRABANG
Address: Dek Kum Pa Village, Luang Prabang, Laos
Situated 3km for the city centre in Luang Prabanghe, this orphanage is a school and is home to 600 children ranging from 6 to 19 years old and is supported by the Lotus Villa Luang Prabang & Laos Government.
SOS CHILDREN’S VILLAGE LUAN PRABANG

This SOS Children’s Village is situated about four kilometres outside Luang Prabang, near the village of Ban Pong, on the main road to Muang Khai. The site includes a paddy field and a pond which provide the families with rice and fish. The centre currently cares for 555 orphaned children.
SOS CHILDREN’S VILLAGE VIENTIANE

based about six kilometres from the centre of the Laos’s capital Vientiane, the village provides support to the local population of Vientiane through a holistic and integral package of services: day-care for young children, primary and secondary schooling, a youth programme as well as family-based care for children who can no longer live with their birth families.

Formed in 1997, COPE is a not-for-profit organisation that works in partnership with the Centre of Medical Rehabilitation (CMR) and provincial rehabilitation centres to provide access to both orthotic/prosthetic devices and rehabilitation services, including physiotherapy, occupational therapy and paediatric services to people with disabilities.
Over the past 14 years, Lao-Kids has worked with a number of orphanage schools in the Luang Prabang province to improve the health and education of the children by providing supplies, building projects and fundraising.
ELEPHANT CONSERVATION CENTER
Address: Nam Tien Protected Area, Sayaboury, Lao
The Center was launched in 2011. It is managed by a team of elephant specialists that have been working towards the protection of elephants in Laos for over a decade, running welfare, vetcare, breeding and mahouts training programmes.
